Putricide is dead, due to a crack team of people that should be out on dates, and going to movies and stuff.

The elite interent S.E.V.E.R.A.N.C.E. S.W.A.T. (acronym somehow translates roughly into computer junkies) team finally pulls it together for a guild first Putricide kill.

Making Severance 7 / 12 for ICC.

While the Blood Princes are a refreshing batch of easy, the Blood Queen encounter reminded us what it meant to do our jobs. I look forward to getting a Putricide or Blood Queen picture up soon.

Congratulations to Severance members for properly executing a strat that isn't very complicated on our 100th attempt. Maybe it was a centennial celebration to commemorate our first pull.

10 attempts on Putricide made me say "wow this fight is lame."

I have yet to see a dps check so finely tuned. Even Heroic Northrend Beasts didn't seem that tight.

Needless to say we hit the enrage timer lots, and the last time we hit the enrage timer.. he fell.

I expect a massive nerf to this boss as soon as scrub guilds attempt him and then whine on the forums.

Rotface, you're next.

I'm going to say this once, to all potential guild applicants.

WE ARE FULL.

We have absolutely no raid spots available in our core 25 man group.

You won't be trialled for a raid spot in our core 25 man group.

There is no opportunity to get into our core 25 man group.

Until people quit or become unreliable.

Period.

If you would like to apply to Severance, you can. If you'd like to be guilded with us, do alt runs with us, hang out with good players feel free to apply. When a spot opens you can certainly have a go.

Severance claims victory over the first 4 released bosses the first week ICC is out.

A quick summary of each of the encounters and why they stomped our asses until people did what they were supposed too.

Lord Marrowgar

Easy, if you can remember to kill the spikes. Make your range dps do their job! Kill the spikes... right away. Also, if you could heal the tanks when they take damage (which is a lot) That really helps you get loot.

Lady Deathwhisper

I'll admit, I can be wrong. I used the "all dps on adds - then switch to boss" strat. It was a bad call. Split your dps and have faith melee can handle the adds.

Gunship Battle

Please ask your main (Maurdin) tank not to just run off the side of Ogrim's Hammer prior to jet pack phase... thanks.

Deathbringer Saurfang

We had 4 people do more than 8k dps. I reccomend that. As well, not having the tank taunt the adds that at Blood Points is wise.

Good Job Severance... 26 more days till more bosses.

So after our huge shake up, recruitment time, no hard mode time, and finally only a few weeks in ToGC 25. We downed Faction Champs after only 4 attempts. Yeah, I knew we were good.
